Picnic Areas, Shelters & Recreation Buildings at Potato Creek State Park
Picnic Areas with tables and charcoal grills are spread throughout the park, with most located near the reservable Shelters and Recreation Buildings. These picnic areas often also have playgrounds, playfields, and restrooms.
There are 3 covered picnic Shelters and 2 enclosed Recreation Buildings that are available for day use rental (from 9 am to 11 pm). The shelters include tables, grill, electricity, and horseshoe pit (bring your own horseshoes). Recreation Buildings may offer additional amenities. Shelters not reserved in advance are available first-come, first-served. Shelters rent for $40/day ($45 on holidays), and the Recreation Buildings rent for $80.25/day ($85.60 on holidays).
