Potato Creek State Park Winter Sports

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

South Bend can get a lot of snow in the winter.  Potato Creek State Park has over 8 miles of trails for cross-country skiing. 

TUBING/SLEDDING

There is a short trail located behind the Peppermint Hill Recreation Building.  This takes you to the sledding hill at Potato Creek State Park.

ICE FISHING – Potato Creek State Park Winter Sports

Ice fishing is available on Worster Lake.  You will need a license for this activity. You can purchase a fishing license online.
